I [...]]]> Well it’s the start of the 2nd half of 2009 and I just can’t believe it. The first half has been so exciting that I can’t wait for the 2nd half. First of all, thanks so much to all the wonderful friends who came out to my first Saratoga Federated Live Concert in May. I have a video from it on the site and everyone who came said that they really enjoyed it and that it was a great success. It was so fun and the Lord was with me every step of the way, especially during the actual event. I must admit I was very emotional right before the concert and I was afraid I would just get up in front of everyone and cry, but I decided to pray and ask God to empower me with the Spirit to be filled with joy and confidence and he was truly there with me. I felt totally free and spontaneous and it was wonderful to know that he had taken me from tears to totally being in control and unafraid within 5 minutes. God is just so AMAZING and it’s such a joy to sing praise to him.

This week my husband and I head off to our family cabin to celebrate our 4th anniversary and we also have something else wonderful to celebrate. A new member to our family, but no, it’s not a real baby, although our new little guy is so tiny and precious that he seems like a baby to me! His name is Max. That’s short for Maxi million Sparkles Lee!!! I’m just head over heels in love and actually I think Dave is as well! We have a lot to learn about raising a little puppy, but we’re so ready for it. He’s a little Maltepoo, which is half Maltese and half Poodle. He’s really fun and sweet!

Well, off to start packing and give Max a bath. Puppies sure do get stinky quick!!!
